Grand Prize Winner Will Build a Dream Trip to Virginia

The Virginia Tourism Corporation today announced the Follow Your Heart to Virginia Sweepstakes – a statewide vacation giveaway featuring nine first-prize trips and one grand prize that allows the winner to build his or her dream vacation. Each prize trip puts love front and center with amusement parks, wineries, museums and special experiences to ensure loved ones feel completely connected on a Virginia vacation. The sweepstakes is open to U.S. residents 21 and older who enter to win at www.Virginia.org/sweeps through August 25, 2011.
 The Follow Your Heart to Virginia Sweepstakes showcases destinations that draw family vacationers year after year to each of the state's nine distinctive travel regions. Family favorites, natural beauty, iconic history, picturesque wineries, and outdoor adventure are woven into the nine first-prize trips, each good for a six-day, five-night vacation for four. 
One grand prize winner will create a dream vacation by choosing components of any of the first-place prizes for a vacation. The grand prize trip is good for two to four people and for two to five nights, based on winner's choice.

Follow Your Heart to the Finer Things in Life – Northern Virginia

Private limo tour to artisanal wineries in Rappahannock County.

Two nights at the historic House on Water Street in Sperryville.

Guided hike through Shenandoah National Park, celebrating its 75th anniversary.

Three nights at the Goodstone Inn and Estate in Middleburg.

Tour the Oatlands Historic House and Gardens in Leesburg.

Tours and tastings at three wineries in Loudoun County.

Dine at the restaurant at Patowmack Farm in Lovettsville and Magnolia's at the Mill Restaurant in Purcellville.

 

Follow Your Heart Along a Crooked Road – Blue Ridge Highlands

Three nights at the Black Fort’s Inn in Abingdon with homemade breakfast each morning.
